PACE undertook a significant role in the Western and Wales Region, as well as on the HS2 project, with a contract value of £2.9 million spanning from September 2020 to July 2021. The company was contracted to supply experienced civils teams to support various project works in the region. These encompassed diverse minor civils packages, including de-vegetation works, 208 tonnes of tarmac resurfacing, 218 cubic meters of concrete installation, RRAP renewals and improvements, 380 meters of new drainage installation, troughing route upgrades, 360 meters of bafix retainer and handrail installation, and the installation of signal bases. Additionally, the scope involved the removal of redundant structures and a belt-driven conveyor system to facilitate new track installation works at West Drayton sidings. Despite the multifaceted nature of the project, PACE's teams demonstrated not only expertise but also a can-do attitude and flexibility, earning satisfaction from the client. The successful execution of these diverse works showcased PACE's ability to manage complex projects within the Western and Wales Region while maintaining high standards of performance and safety.
